Platters Catering & Events opened for business June 2000. Owner Kevin McKitrick brings many years of experience to Platters Catering & Events. Kevin spent 15 years working at Homewood Health Centre Inc. in Guelph, Ontario. During this tenure, Kevin was employed as Event Co-ordinator for the organization.

Kevin also ran a successful catering business and was employed as Catering Manager at the University of Guelph before realizing his dream of Platters Catering & Events.
